2020 Good Friday Baseball / Softball Camp

GOOD FRIDAY BASEBALL / SOFTBALL CAMP

Softball and Baseball players ages 6-12 years old

Former Farleigh Dickinson Standout Bobby Romano will run the baseball camp. In addition, we will have current and former high school and college coaches and players on hand for the softball camp.

Our camps are always fast paced and informative. All players will have a change to take swings on our HitTrax Machine, the first and only baseball data capture and simulation system that provides powerful combination of performance data and entertainment value.

2020 Spring Training Beginners Camp

SPRING TRAINING - 2020 BEGINNER'S HITTING CAMP

Softball and Baseball players ages 6-9 years old

This 10 player maximum camp teaches players how to properly swing the bat. Ron's fundamentally detailed instruction format includes learning:

Balance & Power = Cause & Effect
Why the proper grip is critical and how to achieve it easily
Very clear explanations. Creating a clear picture in the mind, for them to understand the skill being taught
How to gather their strength while loading their weight
Eliminate the 'uppercut' through learning various causses of 'it'
Each player is taught or given some individual tips or instructions based on their own needs as well.
How to deliver the bat quickly, with proper weight shift & leverage

SPRING TRAINING - 2020 ADVANCED HITTING CAMP

Softball and Baseball players ages 10-14 years old

This 10 player maximum camp teaches players what the proper swing path should be. Ron's fundamentally detailed instruction format includes learning:

Balance & Power going hand in hand
Why the proper grip is and learning how to 'feel it'
How to hit from the ground up
Proper lower half weight shift
How to hit a curve ball effectively

Beginner's Catchers Lesssons

BEGINNER'S CATCHING LESSONS

Softball and Baseball players ages 8-12 years old*

* All players must provide their own equipment

This 4-6 player maximum camp teaches players the basics to playing the position. Ron's fundamentally detailed instruction format includes learning:

Catching stances & posture
Receiving - quiet, yet assertive, designed to promote proper muscle memory
Blocking - developing quickness & technique
Throwing - footwork, transfer and arm stroke
Retrieving loose balls - bunts, passed balls, etc.
